Marine Mart is founded by Alastair Thomas.

Arleigh Northern changes its name to Arleigh International Limited .

Acquisition Merger

Arleigh International & Marine Mart are acquired by Caverdale Group PLC and merged.

Alastair Thomas is appointed as Managing Director of Arleigh International.

Management buyout of Firstserve Group incorporating Arleigh International.


New premises

Arleigh moves to new 11,000 sq ft premises in Nuneaton.

MBO of Arleigh from Firstserve, led by Alastair Thomas and backed by NVM.


Midland Chandlers

Acquisition of Midland Chandlers which enhanced the market position in the inland marine sector.

Acquisition of Crown Products removing a siting equipment competitor.


New Group premises

Relocation of the Group to new 35,000 sq ft premises in Nuneaton.

David Cottom joins the group as a Director.


Nova Leisure

Acquisition of Nova Leisure which expanded the motorhome product range.

Karen Bliss

Karen Bliss joins the company from Thetford.


Premises expansion

Expansion of the Nuneaton site by 11,000 sq ft to accomodate the new Nova Leisure business.

Acquisition of Unipart Leisure & Marine’s motorhome business, increasing market share in motorhome sector & number one distributor of key market supplier.


Premises expansion

Work commences on 18,000 sq ft extension of current premises.

LKQ

Arleigh Group was acquired by LKQ Corporation, a NASDAQ listed Fortune 500 company.


ASAP Supplies

Acquisition of ASAP Supplies which increased the market share in the commercial marine sector.

Aquafax

Acquisition of Aquafax which increased the market share in the off shore and inland marine sector.


Further premises expansions

12,500 sq ft expansion to Nuneaton site & a 10,000 sq ft expansion at ASAP Supplies.

New Managing Director

Adam Ramsden is appointed as the new Arleigh Group Managing Director.


Successful through Covid

Arleigh successfully manage the business through Covid, maintaining supply of critical parts, and making significant digital and operational investments

A record year for the business

With a 25% increase on previous year, and significant market share gain in core Marine and RV segments


Arleigh becomes part of the ECP UK & ROI Group

We have also moved onto a common computer platform (ERP), increasing the availability and delivery opportunities for Arleigh products across UK & ROI
